Fantastic Columbus Day

We just wanted to give a big thank you to you all for a fantastic season and weekend! Columbus Day Weekend was a big success- and it was so great to see all our regulars and newcomers as well!! Thanks to Alex and Connor for working hard with the bonfire to keep it going!!! It was a tricky one!

We hope you all enjoyed the foliage- but this year it seems to be peaking a little later than usual. Woke up this morning to the leaves changing almost overnight! The campground looks beautiful- the mountains are colorful- and hiking is the best ever! We have had great weather these past few days and hopefully more to come!

It feels like the season is coming to an end- but we still have a few more weekends left! So come onto the website or give us a call at (603)726-2000 to book a camping weekend here at Goose Hollow!! Before you know it'll be winter and free time will be spent shoveling snow! Enjoy the rest of Fall while we still can!

Despite Flood, Goose Hollow is Up and Running!

Wow! What a scary and crazy weekend! We hope everyone is safe and sound after Tropical Storm Irene! The Mad River here in Thornton flooded the campground- it was a hectic day and night here at Goose Hollow. Special thanks goes out to the heroic efforts of George and Brendan for acting quickly and saving every last RV that was on the campground. The good news is that we are extremely fortunate and grateful that we have not suffered any extensive damages. The plumbing and electric are back on and things are being put back in place as we speak.

So yes, Goose Hollow is open and ready for you to come on in and spend the weekend with us! The river is higher than we've ever seen it, but water is continuously receding and as we have more days of sunshine everything is drying and back to normal. So get ready for Labor Day Weekend- we are celebrating so much here at Goose Hollow Campground! Can't wait for you to join us!
