Despite Flood, Goose Hollow is Up and Running!

Wow! What a scary and crazy weekend! We hope everyone is safe and sound after Tropical Storm Irene! The Mad River here in Thornton flooded the campground- it was a hectic day and night here at Goose Hollow. Special thanks goes out to the heroic efforts of George and Brendan for acting quickly and saving every last RV that was on the campground. The good news is that we are extremely fortunate and grateful that we have not suffered any extensive damages. The plumbing and electric are back on and things are being put back in place as we speak.

So yes, Goose Hollow is open and ready for you to come on in and spend the weekend with us! The river is higher than we've ever seen it, but water is continuously receding and as we have more days of sunshine everything is drying and back to normal. So get ready for Labor Day Weekend- we are celebrating so much here at Goose Hollow Campground! Can't wait for you to join us!
