Mount Washington Cog Railway

 Looking for something to do? Ride the Cog Railway up to the Mount Washington Summit! It is a 3 hour roundtrip excursion! Did you know the Cog Railway was the first cog railway in the world?! You can learn all about this and more at the museum at Marshfield Base Station. Once you reach the summit you can enjoy the view, visit the restaurant, and a few other museums. The weather station is at the summit as well- Mount Washington has the title of the worst weather in the world- due to the 200 mph winds recorded at the summit. Be sure to bring a jacket to the top with you!
